The twins, Keti and Boyana Stoyanova were born 1980 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. They began playing the guitar at the age of 10 and in 1994 started stydying at the music school "Dobrin Petkov" in Plovdiv.Their teachers were Maria Gemedjieva and Petko Genkov. During their years of study, they gave many recitals and took part in guitar competitions, winning several prizes, which included a special prize from the Spanish Ambassador to Bulgaria.
Keti and Boyana Stoyanova have taken part in master classes - as soloists and as Duo Stoyanova - conducted by John Duarte, Prof Bernard Hebb, Finn Svit, Michael Tröster, Roland Dyens, Prof Carlos Bonell and others. Since 1998, the twins live in Bremen and study at the "Hochschüle fur Künste"State College of Music) in the class of Prof Bernard Hebb. Duo Stoyanova has concretized in Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Austria, Germany and Sweden
and have recorded for Radio Bremen and Deutschüandfunk. Both gave also recitals at International Guitar Festivals like Zeven (Germany), Aalborg(Denmark) and Rust (Austria).
Duo Stoyanova is also Finalist at the 1 1th Concours International de Guitare en Duo in Montélimar, France.
Die Zwillingsschwestern Keti und Boyana Stoyanova geboren 1980 in Plovdiv, Bulgarien, haben im Alter von 10 Jahren mit dem Gitarrenspiel begonnen. Im Jahr 1994 wurden sie an der Musikschule ,, Dobrin Petkov" in Plovdiv mit Hauptfach "Klassische Gitarre" aufgenommen, welche sie 1998 mit Auszeichnung verliessen. Während dieser Zeit haben beide viele Konzerte gespielt und an etlichen Wettbewerben teilgenommen. Boyana hat unter anderen den Förderpreis des spanischen Botschafters in Sofia bei den "International Competition for Classical Guitar" 1996 in Plovdiv gewonnen. Keti war u.a. die erste Preisträgerin bei dem selben Wettbewerb. Neben der Untericht bei Maria Gemegjieva und Petko Genkov konnten sie ausserdem Erfahrung bei Meisterkursen bei John Duarte, ProfBernard Hebb` Finn Svit, Michael Tröster, Roland Dyens` ProfCarlos Bonell und anderen, sammeln.
Seit 1998 wohnen Keti und Boyana in Bremen und studieren an der "Hochschule für Künste" in der Klasse von Prof. Brenard Hebb. Duo Stoyanova hat viele Konzerte, u.a. mit Orcheser, bereits in in Frankreich, Dänemark, Deutschland, Bulgarien, Schweden uns Osterreich gegeben. Auch wurden mehrere Aufriahmen bei Radio Bremen und Deutschlandüink gemacht. Beide hatten auch Auftritte in Internationalen Gitarrenfestivais wie Zeven (Deutschland), Rust (Österreich) und Aalborg (Dänemark).
